Two Years since last I posted... We're back..

Two long years since last I posted Blogger, I hadn't do it with my Blogger for some reasons. Sorry!

Heart met new three friends, Charlie (chocolate Lab), Ben (yellow Lab and guide dog) and Caesar (mixed breed). Last year, I dogsat Caesar for a month when his owners were away, and he had a good time with his friends and lots of play. Late November 2021, I decided to took them to little night walk right after gas station and walked around the park, I noticed Caesar started act strangely and immediately went into alert mode before I realized, so... I spotted a coyote!

Thank to him, I'm now aware around coyote roaming at the park if night. I've never forget. So this was Heart's first time to saw a coyote and she never seen a wild canine before. My mom can hear coyotes howling overnight, she was sleeping with windows closed and the forest is very close to my parents' house. She told me about it!

Heart's yearly checkup on late February and was examined by the veterinarian, she is in excellent condition so she can continue to work. Her eyelid was small lump and was ready for surgery on mid April. Heart's surgery went well and took rest in 10 days, no work and no play till she is well recovered. And veterinarian cleared Heart's eyelid, well healed so she is back to work.

Heart's yearly checkup is due next two months. Since she is 9 yrs old, she will require to senior bloodwork and make sure to free of diseases/cancers. Cancers in dogs make me worried about Heart's health. Unfortunately for few of my friends lost their dogs to cancers. My only hope for keep Heart healthy and free of cancers. Mom said I'm very good to take care of Heart. Yes, always!

Two years ago, Covid 19 started to spread global rapidly and forced to restaurants, malls and other places to closed in order to prevent it from spread virus. So Heart and I were stay home for four months before places opened with health safety, of course, wear masks. My mom, dad and twin sister were work from home and my brother did virtual online for high school. He graduated from school in 2020! Now he is study at the university for two years and continue.

This year, Covid 19 started to decreasing but slowly, it getting better and better... It is still risky. Sigh..

Heart and I are doing well and still strong, she is still working with sounds and PA and as long as she is good girl. She and I are work together for over 7 years. No, Heart won't be retired unless the vet and Lions Foundation will agrees and she will ready for retied either health issues or begin to slow down.

Heart just turned 9 years old last month. I hardly don't believe that! I'm not ready for it. Her chin and around nose are now grey but slowly. Her age won't let Heart slow down so Heart is happy to work and sometime lots of rest than young dogs.

My mom is retired from teaching career last June. And after summer, school called her for little help and continued teaching, but not everdays. My mom asked me to take Heart to school for drama, it is called: The Legally Blonde (musical drama) that is what mom taught students about watch a comedy movie so Heart had practice for a bit she did good! Musical Drama is coming up on January 2023.

This year of 2022 is near end soon, oh boy, time flies fast!

Heart is in bath tub at Pet Valu, before start to bath her.

Penny (now six years old) is standing and cautious watching either Heart or neighbours.
It was snow last month, lots of snowing. Unfortunately, snow melted due to little warm climate.

Leo (now ten years old) was happy to see me last three months.
Heart and Penny know him since young ages. they are very good friends.

Right to left: Alice 10 yrs old (retired guide dog and lovely pet), Heart (mine), Charlie 18 months old (my cousin's) and Ben 4 yrs old (now former guide dog). They had fun time at my friend's.

Ben is, unfortunately, early retirement from guide dog due to unsuitable for working life. Now he is a lovely pet and waiting for a permanent home. I'm sorry, my friend, Heart and I hadn't chance to meet up with them at the mall. She was try to do best with Ben's working life and activities. Waiting for next guide dog is always hard.
